Over the years, Boxer, the Terran Emperor watched over his empire with his protégé iloveoov, the "Cheater Terran" whom he taught and raised. Just as Boxer held his ascendancy, Oov carried the responsibilities given by Boxer to protect the integrity of his dominion. Along this line of Terran royalty now stands an heir whom Boxer has taken under his wing. Canata, once known as "iloveoovJeja," meaning "a disciple of iloveoov," has been under Boxer and Oov's guidance for the past years. As the successor to the Terran sovereignty, Canata shows great prospects to protect his Terran lineage.

Canata first encountered Boxer and Oov during the fight between the master and pupil in the EVER 2004 finals, as Oov's practice partner. After Oov's victory of 3-2 against Boxer, Oov commented Canata's potential to carry on the Terran lineage within the team. Boxer had already noticed this, as Canata was placed under his supervision. Over the months, as his student and roommate, Canata became closer to Boxer and considers him as his mentor. In an interview a few months later, during the So1 semi-finals, Canata expressed that he would like to be Boxer's practice partner, if both Boxer and Oov entered the finals again and a master-pupil rematch was to take place. Unfortunately, Oov was unable to enter the finals.

Though he was considered a rookie, Canata did not at all seem like one, as he won the GameTV Super Rookie Tournament with ease, even while spending his entire time helping Oov practice for the Starleague finals. Eager to learn and grow within the team, he never turned away any requests by his teammates to help them practice. Moreoever, at the time, a mysterious Terran by the username "Sea.Paris" had ranked first in the PGTour ladder server, stirring up quite a commotion among the online community. After a long period of investigation, it was confirmed that Canata had been practicing under the pseudonym. Truly, his voracious nature to develop seems endless. When asked about Canata's involvement in the team, the coach of his team T1 commented that Canata "never loses a game" for the games that decide the in-team rankings.

It is too early to determine Canata's distinct style of play; he was raised by two mentors that are radically different yet somehow alike, and in many cases their distinct styles have shown through Canata. Some analysts have commented that Canata has an offensive style, in combination with superb timing, both traits passed down by his mentor, Boxer. Still others claim that his style is a solid defense with a sharp instinct to determine the opponent's situation at hand. In any case, it seems that his teachers have had significant influence on him, particularly in developing counters against well-known opponents.

Consequently, Canata has shown results. Within a single SKY Proleague season, he defeated formidable opponents, including sAviOr, Chojja, Nada, Cloud, and most notably JulyZerg, during the Proleague Finals and adding a fourth title to his team. Even during the last Dual Tournament that would qualify the players to the Starleague in the fall, the season that mysteriously favors the Protoss users, Canata outmaneuvered the "Spirit Protoss" Pusan[S.G]'s innovative ace play. But during every interview, the young Canata is surprisingly far too humble: "I enjoy fighting stronger opponents," he remarked. "I’m honored to play against them."

Thus, his humility may be his greatest strength, but unfortunately, also his greatest weakness. Canata has been through many slumps in the past because of his nervousness during official matches. However, he was able to overcome his anxiety many times with the words spoken to him by Boxer, which is quite known among the community: "You are Canata" – a simple statement, yet effective in reminding him of who he is: Canata, the one that does not lose a single game among his teammates.

Invisible army: Pusan uses the dark templars as his opening move and follows with an arbiter-based build. Notice the arbiters constantly shadowing his units' movements.
Consecutive recalls: One arbiter recalls units and an additional arbiter at 9 o'clock, destroys the command center and immediately recalls the same units from 9 to 7 o'clock with the second arbiter.
Divide and conquer: Continuously puts seige tanks in stasis field while attacking.
